REBA IS KFC’S FIRST FEMALE COLONEL SANDERS
Kentucky Fried Chicken announced today that it has selected the first ever globally-known music superstar to play the role of Colonel Harland Sanders. Beginning January 28, ads featuring multiple Grammy-Award winning entertainer Reba McEntire will air on television and computer screens nationwide to promote KFC’s new Smoky Mountain BBQ fried chicken.
REBA RETURNS TO RODEO ROOTS AT NFR
Iconic entertainer REBA MCENTIRE found her voice at the rodeo. Growing up on the family ranch with a champion steer roper dad and competing in barrel racing herself, it was Reba’s singing of the “Star Spangled Banner” at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City that set her Superstar status in motion.
